Personality

Personality: Arystar is an easily depressed fellow with a lot of emotional baggage, but he's also a really sweet guy-- most of the time. When he activates his Innocence, his dual-toned hair slicks straight up and he develops a surly, arrogant and cocky attitude. He's very protective of his friends, strives to make lots of new ones(to make up for the lack of companionship in his childhood, no doubt), and will do pretty much anything to make his friends happy.

Background

Background: The grandson of an eccentric collector, Arystar spent the majority of his life held up in his grandfather's lavish, though strange, castle. Because of his grandfather's antisocial persona and strange collectibles, particularly the exotic plants the howled and screamed deep into the night, the nearby village had begun to believe the Krory family to be vampires and shunned them. Poor Arystar tried many times to become friends with the local children, but they wanted nothing to do with a little vampire. In the end he locked himself away with his grandfather, tending to the elder Krory's exotic plants that had caused the rumor of vampirism.
After his Grandfather's death, he lived alone for a long time, still taking care of his grandfather's possessions. That was, until a man named Cross Marian came to him, returning a plant that he had borrowed years before. Shortly thereafter, the plant bit him and with the bite, a new life; his teeth fell out to be replaced by Innocence, making the idea of a vampire very much real, though instead of drinking human blood, he craves the poison blood of Akuma and Noah.
An Akuma by the name of Eliade was sent to exterminate him, however instead of killing him she stayed with him, in the hopes that she could have something that was out of her reach as an Akuma; love. However it wasn't meant to last, for by chance two exorcists(Allen Walker at first, then Lavi(Rabi) later) had been 'recruited' by the villagers to eradicate the vampire Krory. In the end, the exorcists helped Krory to learn the truth about Eliade and himself, and after killing Eliade and setting her soul free, he joined the Black Order.
